Christianity, at it's core, begins with and is all about Jesus, the Christ. Although prayers, worship services, terminologies and practices may differ, the foundational belief of every Christian is that Christ was crucified and died (John 3:16-18).
That he was buried and resurrected in three days (Luke 23:26-43) so that we could be restored in relationship to God the Father and gain eternal life (Luke 24:1-8).
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9) and you're ready to take that step, or you want to renew your covenant with God, join us at one of our services and our Pastor and leaders will guide you through that process.
Visiting a church for the first time can be unnerving, so we want to give you an idea of what to expect when visiting Rising Sun.
